Kitchen Items collection for Veterans

You can help veterans in need by donating gently used kitchen items this Saturday at the Fox Point Farmers' Market. Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Services helps needy veterans achieve independent living. With limited income, veterans face the daunting task of furnishing an apartment. If you have extra dishes, glasses or silverware, please bring them to the market this week. New kitchen towels are also appreciated. Microwaves and coffeemakers are always appreciated. Pick up of larger items like refrigerators can be arranged by calling Executive Director Dennis Johnson, 414-333-8513.
