Nicolet's first-ever Relay for Life, the American Cancer Society's popular fundraiser, will be held Friday at the high school stadium. The event has attracted 26 teams made up of 224 participants. Together, they have raised almost $11,000 so far. The public is welcome to watch or partake in the festivities--or make a donation--between 6 p.m. and 11 p.m. After 11 p.m., only those who have raised a minimum amount of money can participate until the event's conclusion at 6 a.m. Listed below is the schedule of events: 5:45 p.m. - Pep Band starts performing 6:00 p.m. - Opening Ceremony 6:15 p.m. - Survivors Lap 6:20 p.m. - Caregivers Lap 6:25 p.m. - Start regular team laps 7:00 p.m. - Kickboxing Lesson 7:30 p.m. - Cardio Dance Lesson 8:00 p.m. - *Mr. Relay Lap 8:10 p.m. - Nicolet F.E.A.R. Demo (Robotics Team) 9:30 p.m. - Hula Hoop Contest 10:00 p.m. - Luminaria Ceremony 11:00 p.m. - Jeopardy! (Fun Trivia) 11:30 p.m. - *Leap Frog Lap 12:10 a.m. - Star Party! with Ms. Gustavson (20 students max) 12:30 a.m. - Frozen T-Shirt Contest 1:00 a.m. - *YMCA/ChaCha Slide/Macarena Theme Lap 1:10 a.m. - Bingo! 1:40 a.m. - *Olympic Speed Walking Lap 2:00 a.m. - Movie (projector & white blanket as the screen) 2:30 a.m. - Movie... 3:00 a.m. - Movie... 3:30 a.m. - Movie... 4:00 a.m. - Movie... 4:30 a.m. -*Pajama Lap 5:00 a.m. - Giant Twister 6:00 a.m. - Closing Ceremony
