Nicolet Rec. Dept. Offering "Parkinson's Movement Class"
This class explores basic movement patterns which are the foundation for more complex daily living activities.

This class explores basic movement patterns which are the foundation for more complex daily living activities. Time will be spent practicing strategies for working with movement challenges such as freezing, rigidity, shuffling and forward learning posture. The Alexander Technique, which has been shown to be effective in improving balance, posture and walking, will be introduced. This is a participatory class where the curiosity to try out new strategies and the experience of moving in nonhabitual ways provide the path to learning.
The room is located by the main entrance with parking available close to the entrance.
