TAI CHI BASICS – 8 FOUNDATION NEIGONG
Tai Chi is an internal Chinese martial art that consists of slow, continuous movement coordinated with mindfulness and balanced breathing. Sometimes referred to as “meditation in motion,” it is a form of exercise that teaches us to move from our center using proper alignment and posture and is an effective means of developing and maintaining a healthy mind and body. When practiced consistently over time, Tai Chi:
• Increases flexibility and strength
• Significantly develops balance
• Relieves stress and improves mental well-being
During this 4-week class, you will be introduced to the key principles of Tai Chi and learn 8 essential Tai Chi movements that create the founda- tion for practicing the older, traditional styles of Tai Chi forms. This program will prepare you for all Secret Yang Tai Chi Chuan programs.

QIGONG - BA DUAN JIN
Ba Duan Jin is one of the oldest and most popular Qigong sets, consisting of 8 easy-to-learn exercises that can be practiced by all ages. These exercises provide excellent health benefits when practiced on a regular basis. Clinical tests have proven that Ba Duan Jin:
• Strengthens the bones and muscles in your lower and upper body
• Improves your posture and balance

QIGONG - YI JIN JING
Yi Jin Jing consists of a set of 12 challenging Qigong exercises. It emphasizes a full range of stretching, turning, and flexing of the tendons and muscles. These movements combine softness with strength by stretching and holding the body in specific positions for extended periods of time, while simultaneously using the mind to relax any tension that arises. Regular practice of Yi Jin Jing will:
• Significantly boost physical strength, flexibility, and endurance
• Increase range of motion, mobility, and resiliency
• Relax the mind and develop a peaceful spirit
