Red Box Rental Station, Outdoor Seating for Toppers Coming to Fox Point

It looks like Fox Point residents will no longer have to drive to Glendale to find a Red Box for movie rentals, nor will they have to take their Toppers pizza home to finish it off.

That's because the Fox Point Plan Commission Monday voted unanimously to allow a Red Box in the village, and 6-1 to allow Toppers to have outdoor seating.

Red Box is a rental machine for DVDs that charges $1 for each rental. Some machines even offer Blue Ray movies and video games. The Red Box will make its debut outside of the in the River Point Shopping Center on North Port Washington Road.

The commission also approved outdoor seating for Pizza in Audubon Court on Brown Deer Road. Four tables and eight chairs will give patrons a spot to enjoy their pizza, similar to those tables and chairs outside .

Both changes still need approval of the , which is expected to vote on them at its May 10 meeting, set for 7 p.m.
