Resigning Stormonth Principal Expected to Take Brookfield Elementary Job

The Fox Point-Bayside School Board officially accepted Westfahl's resignation Thursday, after three years in the as principal of Stormonth Elementary.

Resigning Stormonth Elementary School Principal Dan WestfahlΒ is expected toΒ take the reins at Brookfield Elementary School next school year.

The Elmbrook School Board is slated to vote on a two-year contract for Westfahl on Tuesday. It stipulates a salary of $99,000.

The Fox Point-Bayside School Board officially accepted Westfahl's resignation Thursday; he has been with the district for three years.Β

Westfahl, who began his career in educationΒ as a first-grade teacher at Marcy Elementary School in the Hamilton SchoolΒ District in 1993, will serve through the end of the school year in Fox Point-Bayside.Β 

He has also served asΒ an adjunct faculty member at Carroll College and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where he received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees, respectively, according to the district website. His doctorate is in leadership for the advancement of learning and service from Cardinal Stritch University.Β
