Time for Tennis: 39th Annual Milwaukee Tennis Classic Kicks Off Friday

Fast-paced, fun, family-friendly and FREE!
Those are only a few of the adjectives that might be used to describe the 39th Annual Milwaukee Tennis Classic, which takes to the courts at the Town Club, 7950 N. Santa Monica Blvd., Fox Point on Friday and runs through Sunday.
The nation’s longest-running intercollegiate tournament for men and women will feature round-robin competition among four men’s and four women’s teams. In-state archrivals Marquette and Wisconsin will field both men’s and women’s squads. Completing the men’s side are Air Force and Ball State. South Carolina and Western Michigan will join MU and UW on the women’s.

Matches are scheduled for 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Sunday matches are slated to start at 9 a.m., 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. with MU and UW pitted against each other in both men’s and women’s singles as the grand finale!
Refreshments will be available for purchase at the outdoor Town Club Cafe.
