The desk clerk said Griffin complained there were bugs in her room and after staff was unable to find bugs in her room, she became disorderly and threatened to beat up the clerk after her shift was done. Griffin was escorted from the hotel and continued to threaten the clerk, then spit in the officer’s face four times while being taken into custody.

Griffin was turned over to the JUSTICE 2000 program for monitoring while awaiting trial.
