• Franklin police launch initiative to improve communication between officers and people with autism (tmj4.com) — Franklin police are now offering free "blue cards" to help officers better recognize and communicate with autistic and neurodivergent residents during traffic stops or other encounters. Available at the department's front desk, the cards explain communication needs and give guidance to both officers and cardholders, with organizers hoping the program improves safety and understanding in Franklin and beyond.
