Fire On Rawson Burns Through Garage, No Injuries: FFD
Franklin Fire Department responded to a garage fire on 4500 Rawson Avenue in Franklin Friday morning. Nobody was injured.
FRANKLIN, WI — A fire broke out in the detached garage of a home on 4500 Rawson Avenue in Franklin Friday morning.
Franklin Fire Department was the first on the scene. By then, the garage was engulfed in flames and according to Franklin Fire Department Assistant Chief Jim Mayer, several explosions took place.
"Initial arriving companies aggressively attacked the garage fire and were successful in preventing the spread of the fire to a nearby home and automobile," Mayer said.

Units from Milwaukee, Oak Creek, Greenfield and Greendale fire departments also arrived at the scene of the fire to help FFD beat the flames, Mayer said.
After the blaze, the garage was severely damaged. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
