Franklin's 'Hill Has Eyes' Haunted House Opens Friday
It's officially haunted house season in Franklin. The Rock's 'Hill Has Eyes' plans to open Friday with an all-outdoor haunt.

FRANKLIN, WI — Franklin's backyard Halloween thrill, the Hill Has Eyes, plans to open Friday. It will mark a decade of the 45-acre outdoor haunted house experience located at The Rock Sports Complex, a news release from organizers said.
Organizers described it as "60 minutes of sheer terror." Scare-seekers are led through a diverse wooded region, marked by landmarks bearing names such as "Failed Escape," "Hunger Hollow," "Carnivore" and "Dead End," ROC Ventures said in the news release.
"We’re celebrating our first decade of thrills and chills," said Mike Zimmerman, CEO of ROC Ventures. “A good scare never gets old!”

"After you’re contained and led to the gates of the haunted trailer park, the hill’s cast of mutant cannibal hillbillies will chase you and your friends through the warped trailer park of Failed Escape. All exits lead to Hunger Hollow, where you’re corralled into the toxic landfill, where more than a million gallons of waste lay below. The captured are skinned, but if you survive and make it to the CARNIvore, you might just leave behind your soul. Dead End awaits … and, once you enter, there’s no turning back," the news release said.
The spook is also offering rewards for visitors. A group of five people can get a bucket of White Claws or Coca-Cola. People that come in groups of ten or bigger can score the drink bucket and a beanie for each member.
Groups of 15 or more will receive all of the above, plus a $3 discount on tickets, according to the news release.

Too Scary?
If the ten days of Halloween thrills are too intense, ROC Ventures also has a "Not So Scary Halloween Party" that runs on Saturdays at 2:30 p.m. The event focuses less on horrifying experiences, and more on a kid-friendly experience.
Kids 8-12 can dress up and take a tour of the hill with kid-friendly ghosts and ghouls along the way. Be sure to bring something to hold some candy, kids can trick or treat their way through the Not So Scary Halloween Party experience, according to the news release.
