FRANKLIN, WI β€” The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) released maps with more detail about the local rates of vaccination against COVID-19 last week.

The new data draws from the Wisconsin Immunization Registry (WIR) to establish geographic data about local vaccine rates, a news release from the DHS said. No personal information is released with the new maps, the DHS news release said.

"Breaking down existing vaccination data by these additional geographies offers new ways for people to understand COVID-19 activity within their communities and will allow us to determine where we need to focus our ongoing vaccination outreach efforts," DHS Secretary-designee Karen Timberlake said.
