Green Bay council approves $750,000 grant match for shipyard project (wbay.com) — Green Bay's Shipyard redevelopment is fully funded to move ahead after the Common Council approved a $750,000 grant match tied to new EPA funding. Residents can expect more riverfront amenities, including a great lawn, dog park, urban beach, playground, and splash pad as Phase 2 construction begins in 2026, with a commercial plaza for local startups planned in the final phase.

Elderly man rescued after his sailboat capsized in the Bay of Green Bay (wtaq.com) — Emergency crews from Suamico and Green Bay Metro Fire rescued an 81-year-old man after his sailboat capsized Monday in the Bay of Green Bay, about two miles from shore. Responders from multiple Brown County agencies safely brought him back to land and used the incident to remind local boaters to always wear properly fitted life jackets on the water.
