GREEN BAY, WI — Sportsbooks have posted their season win totals for Green Bay's two biggest football programs, and the numbers tell very different stories.
The Packers' total sits at 9.5 wins for the 2026 NFL season, according to Vegas Insider, even after oddsmakers weighed one of the toughest projected schedules in the league.
Green Bay is coming off three straight 9-plus win seasons that all ended in first-round playoff exits, and the over is currently favored at some sportsbooks even after the number dropped.
Down the road in Madison, Wisconsin's win total for 2026 sits at 6.5.
The Badgers are trying to bounce back from a 4-8 season, their worst regular-season mark since 1990, and have gone under their win total in five straight years under coach Luke Fickell.
A retooled offense led by transfer quarterback Colton Joseph and an easier schedule have some oddsmakers and bettors expecting Wisconsin to finally clear the number. But the season starts with a tough test against Notre Dame at Lambeau Field.
Win totals will keep moving as rosters take shape and injuries pile up, but for now, Vegas sees a step back for the Packers and a modest step forward for the Badgers.
