Green Bay Police Dept. remembers K9 Pyro (fox11online.com) — Green Bay residents are mourning K9 Pyro, who served alongside Officer Salzmann for more than eight years and survived a 2019 stabbing while responding to a mental health crisis. The police department announced his passing Friday and invites those wishing to honor him to donate to Green Bay's K9 unit or other Northeast Wisconsin K9 departments.
2. 'All Bands on Deck' returns to Green Bay's shipyard district (wbay.com) — Green Bay's Shipyard District is buzzing this weekend as the free "All Bands on Deck" festival brings nearly 100 bands to a dozen local bars, restaurants, and outdoor stages through Saturday. Organizers expect another crowd of more than 10,000, with a family-friendly stage at 8th Street Park opening at noon so kids can enjoy live music too.
3. Weekend Digest: Sept. 12-13, 2026 (spectrumnews1.com) — Green Bay residents should know state election officials found the city clerk's office broke the law by sending duplicate absentee ballots before August's primary and have now ordered new procedures for November.
