Today's riddle: What has a tail, but no body? 🤔 (Answer below!)
1. Former Packers, Watson's Family Sound Off On Bad Decisions, Refs In Vikings Loss (patch.com) — Green Bay fans are reeling after the Packers blew a 12-point second-half lead in Minnesota, undone by penalties, questionable officiating, and a pivotal fourth-down decision by coach Matt LaFleur. Former Packers, local sports voices, and Christian Watson's own family sharply criticized the organization, coaching choices, and recurring late-game collapses as Green Bay's losing streak stretched to six games.
2. SUV hits power pole, rolls over into Green Bay house (fox11online.com) — A rollover crash on Green Bay's west side sent one person to the hospital after an SUV hit a power pole and then a house on 9th Street near Nicolet Avenue and Cleveland Street. Firefighters stabilized the vehicle to remove the occupant, no one was inside the home at the time, and police are still investigating what caused the crash.
3. Green Bay gears up for 9th annual Fall Volunteer Expo (wearegreenbay.com) — Stadium View in Green Bay is hosting the 9th annual Fall Volunteer Expo this afternoon, giving you a one-stop chance to meet about 50 local nonprofits. From 3–7 p.m., residents can explore ways to match their skills and passions with community needs through groups like St. John's Ministries and Unity Hospice.
4. Cheesesteak Rebellion announces takeout restrictions amid surge in business (wearegreenbay.com) — If you're planning a cheesesteak run in Green Bay, know that Star Wars-themed Cheesesteak Rebellion is now capping takeout orders at six sandwiches while it trains new kitchen staff. The popular spot says the change should help manage long waits as business surges and hints that future expansion ideas, like a food truck, are on the table.
5. Green Bay keeps flock cameras with updated policy; De Pere to end contract (wbay.com) — Green Bay is keeping its 42 Flock license plate cameras but tightening rules, including cutting data retention from 30 to seven days and requiring case numbers for searches.
