1. Vivent Health unveils $1.6M renovation, expanding integrated care in Green Bay (wtaq.com) — Vivent Health has unveiled a $1.6 million renovation of its clinic on Monroe Avenue in Green Bay, expanding a 5,486-square-foot center that now serves nearly 500 patients. With integrated medical, HIV, behavioral health, testing, harm reduction, housing, and legal services, the clinic aims to better support residents as one of Wisconsin's key HIV care providers.
2. Green Bay's 'hidden homeless' maintain lives and hopes while living in their vehicles (pbswisconsin.org) — Families in Green Bay are quietly living in their vehicles while trying to keep kids in local schools like Starr Elementary and Head Start. The story follows parents juggling jobs, long commutes, and waitlists, and highlights Safe Place Parking at Wise Women Gathering Place, which offers overnight security, basic amenities, and a lifeline for many of the city's "hidden homeless."
3. St. Mary's Hospital begins construction on new six-story patient tower in Green Bay (wearegreenbay.com) — St. Mary's Hospital in Green Bay has broken ground on a six-story inpatient tower that will add more than 100 rooms, including 36 ICU and 72 med-surg beds. The project replaces a demolished building and is part of broader modernization of HSHS hospitals, aiming to expand intensive and cardiovascular care for local residents and highway travelers.
4. 'Rotating Arts' program in Green Bay installs final sculpture near Fisk and Dousman (wbay.com) — Green Bay has just installed the fifth and final sculpture in its Rotating Arts program, placing Luke Achterberg's "Confluence" at Fisk and Dousman. Ten sculptures are now displayed across the city for two years each, and residents can explore them using an online interactive map to plan their own art walk around town.
