5 Greendale High School Seniors Sign 'Pledge To Prosper'
Five Greendale High School seniors who signed the "Pledge to Prosper" form agreed to interview with the district following college.

GREENDALE, WI -- Greendale Schools celebrated the next generation of educators with a special ‘signing’ day on Tuesday.
Five Greendale High School seniors, who will be pursuing a degree in Education following their graduation from high school this spring, signed the Greendale Schools 2019 Educators Rising “Pledge to Prosper” Commitment Form.
The form is a pledge between the district and the students to meet and interview for a teaching position once the Greendale High School graduate has completed their Bachelor’s degree in Education.

Greendale High School seniors Samantha Swenski, Jessica Lemke, Jordan Ouellette, Nancy Her, and Madelyn Drury all signed the form this week. Kayla Correll is the Co-Advisor of the Greendale High School Chapter of Educators Rising and the school’s Family and Consumer Education instructor.
“We are proud to celebrate with these young people who are pursuing a career in education,” said Gary Kiltz, Superintendent of Greendale Schools. During the ceremony Kiltz welcomed the students into the field of education and told them he looks forward to working with them in the future.

Educators Rising is a free national membership organization for aspiring teachers and their mentors. GHS is one of more than 2,400 schools in 27 states to be affiliated with the group.
