Greendale High School's Project Lead the Way Principles of Engineering class tackled a tough project over the last few weeks. Their task was to build a marble sorter using FischerTechniks equipment. The marbles could be sorted in a variety of ways including size, weight, or material.
Implemented at GHS in September 2005, the Project Lead the Way (PLTW) curriculum incorporates a three or four year sequence of courses which, when combined with traditional mathematics and science courses in high school, introduces students to the scope, rigor and discipline of engineering prior to entering college.
Greendale High School has been recognized as a Project Lead the Way Certified School since 2007.
