Bow to your Dictator

We all love them. Short in both physical and mental stature. Filled with a mighty authority stemming from self conscious inadequacies. Always wearing the neatly pressed colorless uniform of a true autocrat. Willing to make the hard choices and sacrifice the freedoms of the nation to ensure self preservation. Creating order through absolute obedience and proudly showing the entire planet that narcissism is the first golden rule. Lets give the dictators of this planet the praise they deserve.

Ok, so I jest. Most of the planet, especially those serving under the rule of a dictator, would argue that the lifestyle created is less than optimal. However, since the beginning of Obama’s rule presidency, he has shown great patience and kindness to the dictators of this world. Going to great lengths to show that the US may not agree with their choices as potentate, we will not judge them. Even going as far as to extend a certain level of remorse that in the past the US has dishonored them by assessing their actions against some moral standard. Is it really any surprise they appear stronger than ever?

Having recently offered the olive branch of peace to Cuba, the official stance of the White House on human rights violations is that only the United States (and Israel) is guilty. All others are simply misunderstood and were required to perform those actions as a response to the evil American white man.

So now we have a world where a 3’8” North Korean has the ability shut down Hollywood. A Russian bear in on the cusp of making a push through eastern Europe. Islam taking off heads like children at a chocolate bunny factory. Also the real prospect that offering the Cuban market to American business, without addressing the human rights issues, could ultimately lead to a worsening problem as the political leadership steals the incoming money from the people.

I believe our President is jealous of the absolute power of a dictator. I also believe that given the opportunity, the American progressive would quickly move toward a single party system. While they may turn their nose at the human rights violations, it is short lived as they bathe themselves in the notion of unlimited control of the people. Individual freedom is the scourge of the dictator, oddly enough it is also this principle that irritates Obama and the progressives more than any other of the founding fathers.
