Fresh Start

It finally feels as though Spring has arrived, and along with it comes anticipation of something new, something fresh. Spring is a new season generally bringing warmer temperatures and some sunny days. New life begins to show itself as everything outside starts to turn green again and color starts to appear as flowers and leaves begin to bloom. For many people Spring is a happy time. It helps us get past the winter blues, it marks the beginning of wedding season where many will celebrate the happy couples. During Spring we honor our Moms by setting aside a special day to recognize the ones who brought us into this world, and we excitedly look forward to the fun that summer holds. Spring symbolizes new life and a fresh start. There are lots of people looking for a fresh start, the opportunity to begin again, putting certain things behind them. For some, it may be in a relationship, or in finding a new job. Others look to start over by moving to a new place or trying different things and hobbies. Yet for others its far less complicated, they are just looking for something new and exciting to be apart of. No matter what season of life you may be in right now, God offers you a fresh start. It all begins with His Son Jesus. 2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT) says, "This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!" A fresh start. At The Way Church, it is our desire to give people the opportunity for a fresh start. Look for us at "Spring Into Greendale" in the Village of Greendale on Saturday May 11th.
