Menomonie High School Concert Chorus to put on a concert April 26th
The Menomonie High School Concert Chorus from Menomonie, WI will be on their Annual Spring concert tour from Thursday, April 25, through Sunday, April 28, 2013. The Concert Chorus is the select touring mixed vocal ensemble at Menomonie High School. The ensemble is comprised of auditioned juniors and seniors.
The Menomonie Concert Chorus tours the Midwest in odd numbered years and goes to New York during the even numbered years in the spring. Previous tours include performances in Des Moines, Iowa, Rochester, Minnesota, and Sioux City, South Dakota, as well as performances in Manhattan.
Audric K. Buhr, a graduate of Luther College, directs the Menomonie Concert Chorus and is currently in his eighth year as Director of Choral Activities at Menomonie High School. Previously he taught in West Des Moines, Iowa for 7 years. He has studied with Mr. Weston Noble, Dr. Timothy Peter, Phil Mattson and Steve Zegree.

The concert program is very diverse with choral works by Eric Barnum, Moses Hogan, Z. Randall Stroope, Dale Warland and Jacques Offenbach.
The Greendale performance will take place on April 26, 7:00pm, at St Thomas of Canterbury Episcopal Church, 7255 W. Grange Ave, Greendale, WI. There is no admission charge, but a free will offering will be taken at the performance.
