GREENDALE, WI β€” This weekend at Southridge Mall, children with special needs and their families have an opportunity to enjoy this time-honored holiday tradition through a sensory-friendly Caring Santa event in partnership with Autism Speaks. Caring Santa is on Sunday, December 3, from 7:30 to 9 a.m., prior to the mall opening. Guests can register in advance at simon.com/caringsanta.

For local pet owners, the popular Pet Photo Nights with Santa will occur on Sunday, December 10, from 8 to 10 p.m. Families can save time and avoid the line by reserving a time with Santa online at simonsanta.com.

Southridge Mall will have extended shopping hours throughout the holiday season, and will randomly delight shoppers with gift cards, shopping totes, and other surprises throughout the season. The mall will also host a Giving Tree for the Salvation Army, where shoppers can select an Angel Tag, purchase a gift, and place it in the giant gift box by the Giving Tree.
