Day of Yoga at Southridge Mall to Raise Funds for Cancer Research

Southridge Mall shoppers will notice something different at the mall on May 13 – a full day of yoga classes, all for a good cause.

GREENDALE, WI —Southridge Mall shoppers will notice something different at the mall on May 13 – a full day of yoga classes, all for a good cause.

A “Day of Yoga” at Southridge Mall will feature six local yoga studios offering donation-based classes every hour from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The event is part of a national day of public yoga classes called project:OM, with proceeds going to Susan G. Komen.

Southridge is one of many Simon properties participating in project:OM, which aims to unite people and raise funds to support the vision of a world without breast cancer, and equal access to health and wellness for everyone.

Participants who register online and donate at least $10 will receive a mall discount card offering 15-25 percent off a single item at participating retailers. Susan G. Komen representatives will be available to share information and resources with project:OM participants and shoppers.
