Police accuse a Milwaukee woman of driving the wrong direction on West Grange Avenue on the Fourth of July with two kids in the car.

GREENDALE, WI — A Milwaukee woman was drunk while driving into oncoming traffic with children in the car, according to reports. Kerri Troyer, 38, was pulled over on the Fourth of July around 9:20 p.m. by Greendale police with two kids, ages 3 and 8, in the car.

A Greendale cop saw Troyer turn west in an eastbound lane on West Grange Avenue near 76th Street, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

She eventually got stuck by two vehicles traveling in the right direction. The report says they had to back up to let her pass at one point, according to the Journal Sentinel.

After being pulled over, Troyer is reported to have told the officer she didn't drink because there were two kids in the car. A breathalyzer test found her blood-alcohol content to be over .18, which is more than twice the legal limit.
