Early Voting in Greendale, Wis. Your Guide to In-Person Voting

What you need to know to cast your vote in person ahead of Tuesday, November 8.

GREENDALE, WIS -- Just about every major candidate out there is angling to secure your vote as quickly as possible ahead of the Tuesday, Nov. 8 general election.

And it seems like just about every one of them wants you to vote early. You may get an e-mail or see an ad in the newspaper or online urging you to vote early.

You may even want to vote early, but the people urging you to do it typically leave out one important detail: how to do it.

Early voting varies by municipality in Wisconsin, and after researching Patch.com communities, we've found that each one does it in a slightly different way. So we checked it out for Greendale and found out how to do it.

In-person absentee voting starts October 24 and runs through November 4 from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m. at the Village Hall in Greendale.

If residents are a first time voter or have an address change, they will need to re-register and provide proof of residence which is something with their name and current address such as a driver’s license, utility bill, paycheck, hunting license, etc.
