2011 marks the 150th anniversary of the start of the Civil War. To commemorate the anniversary, Trimborn Farm will be featuring a special exhibition drawn from the Milwaukee County Historical Society’s artifact collections. The Civil War Encampment will also allow visitors to step into the world of Confederate and Union soldiers, artillery, cavalry, sutlers, and camp followers. Re-enactors represent famous Civil War figures, sell goods, demonstrate equipment and weapons, and fight mock skirmishes.
