Governor Walker has a bit of a shrinkage problem...

If you are a fan of "Seinfeld" you might remember the episode when George Costanza was caught with his pants down after taking a dip into the cold ocean . . . and promptly laughed at by Jerry's girlfriend. To no avail George yelled back, "It's the shrinkage!" and even begged Jerry to tell her about the cold water and the male shrinkage factor. If you are a guy, or married to a man, or know much about the male anatomy, or have gone swimming with a male between the ages of 2-102, you know about the shrinkage - And now Scott Walker is hoping that his GOP friends can use the same cold water excuse to explain our shrinkage in Wisconsin. What the heck am I talking about? The economy in Wisconsin is shrinking: Wisconsin’s six-month economic forecast ranks 49th in the nation, according to the latest analysis by the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. In fact, Wisconsin’s coincident growth index is a lowly -0.74 percent. Only Wyoming has lower projection. Boy, if I had a growth index of -0.74% I'd have some marital explaining to do... And now since we have been politically married to Scott Walker and his rag tag bunch of GOP reverse Robinhoods for two years, they have "some 'splaining to do Lucy." According to the forecast, the coincident indexes of 45 states are projected to show growth over the next six months, but Alaska, Louisiana, North Dakota, Wisconsin and Wyoming are projected to well, show "shrinkage." What do the states of Wisconsin, Alaska, Louisiana, North Dakota and Wyoming all have in common, besides the "shrinkage" factor? That's easy - They all are being led into the cold, deep end of the economic pool by REPUBLICAN governors who think raiding the funds of public schools and giving tax breaks to the wealthy are the answers to our prayers. Better think again boys because your economic plan has just been caught with its pants down and the entire nation can see the "shrinkage" - either that or someone stuffed a thimble down your drawers. http://www.biztimes.com/article/20130603/ENEWSLETTERS02/130609976/-1/dai...
