Greendale 2018 Christmas Tree Lighting Date, Time Set

Greendale residents and visitors are invited to attend the Tree Lighting Ceremony to kickoff the holiday season.

GREENDALE, WI -- The Greendale Chamber of Commerce and Village of Greendale is hosting the Village’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony on “Thanksgiving Friday”, Nov. 23 in front of the Village Hall.

Greendale residents and visitors are invited to attend the Tree Lighting Ceremony to kickoff the holiday season. Many shops in Historic Downtown Greendale will have extended holiday hours for this special event.

Activities begin at 6:00 p.m. The Tree Lighting Ceremony will include music, sing-alongs,
and carols starting at 6:30 p.m.

The Chamber and Village will then lead the crowd in counting down to the lighting of the holiday lights throughout Historic Downtown Greendale at 6:50 p.m. Shortly thereafter, Santa Claus will arrive to provide treats to all the “good little boys and girls.”
