Greendale: Events for our Students this Week
Help our young people learn a little bit more about Greendale and also stay healthy.

Historic Greendale Walking Tour for Middle School 8th Graders:
The Historic Greendale Walking Tour is a field trip through the Village center and neighborhoods surrounding Greendale's Village Hall. This activity is offered in collaboration with the Greendale Historical Society and teaches the students about the National Historic Landmark community where they go to school. From the Middle School, students and chaperones will walk to the historical society (welcome center office) to meet with the guides. There are a few tour times, so please let me know a time that will fit your schedule.

Teens Against Tobacco Use activity
Greendale and Franklin FACT (http://factmovement.org/) groups, and Greendale Middle School Tobacco Fighters will collaborate in a joint advocacy activity at Scout Lake. Members of both groups will do a Human Billboard on the bridge over Loomis Road beginning at 3:30 p.m. In addition, they will be picking up cigarette butt litter around the lake and in the parking lot and they will do stencils and chalk around the pathways. The activity will last until approximately 5 p.m.
