Greendale Fall Leaf Pick Up Schedule

We're now in October, which means trees are shedding leaves. Here's when the Village is coming by to pick up leaves.

GREENDALE, WI β€” With October here and the cooler air of fall, plenty of leaves will soon be headed to the ground in Greendale.

The Village has scheduled times for leaf pick up, so here is when you can expect leaf collection crews to come by your neck of the woods:

Leaf collection will start Oct. 18 and run until Nov. 12. To have your leaves collected, they should be piled 12 inches from a curb. Piles should be stacked up to three days in advance of a scheduled pickup, according to the schedule.

Crews will drive between parts of the village to collect leaves left on the side of the road. Throughout the season, crews plan to stop at most areas twice, according to the schedule.

If a crew comes earlier than expected, the crew will plan on returning again the day after, according to the schedule. Parts of the village have been split up into A weeks and B weeks.
