Greendale To Fill Vacant Trustee Seat, Applicants Sought

The selected Trustee will serve until their successor takes office in April 2019.

GREENDALE, WI -- The Village Board of Trustees is moving forward to fill the Trustee vacancy created when Trustee Rich Busalacchi moved out of the Village.

The Village Board of Trustees will now begin the process of considering applicants to fill the Trustee vacancy. The successful applicant will hold office until April of 2019, when the term of office for the vacant positions ends.

The successful candidate must receive four votes from the Board to receive the appointment. The selected Trustee will serve until their successor takes office in April 2019. The Trustee seat is paid $6,262/year.

Registered voters who are interested in serving on the Board of Trustees should submit resumes that
include what the candidate has done that has prepared the candidate to be a Trustee, what the candidate has done for the Village, what groups they have been a part of, if they have attended meetings, and any committees they have been on in the Village.

The resume must be received by the Village Clerk-Treasurer by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 12. Applicants should clearly address their resume as “TRUSTEE APPLICATION” and send or deliver the resume to the Clerk-Treasurer, 6500 Northway, Greendale WI 53129.

On Oct. 16, the Village Board will meet to review and consider the applicants. They will also determine the next step in the appointment process. Applicants will be notified as to the next steps in the review process after the Oct. 16 Village Board meeting.
