Greendale School Board Academy Set for December 12
The School Board Academy is an opportunity for all citizens who are interested in learning more about the role of the District's Board.

GREENDALE, WI – The Greendale Board of Education will host its annual School Board Academy on Monday, December 12, 2016, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Greendale Schools’ District Office conference room, 6815 Southway, Greendale. (The administrative offices are located at the back of the high school, 6801 Southway, on the football-field side of the building.)
In order to prepare materials, registration is requested by 5 p.m., on Friday, December 9, by calling Mary Ann Jacobsen at 414-423-2700, Ext. 2702.
The School Board Academy is an opportunity for all citizens who are interested in learning more about the role of the District’s Board of Education. Greendale’s Superintendent Dr. Gary Kiltz and School Board President Joe Crapitto will present information on the duties and responsibilities of School Board members, school finance, law, and personnel issues, ethical practices and accountability.

The five-member Greendale Board of Education will have one position on the 2017 Spring Ballot. The successful candidate will serve a regular, three-year term on the Board. To be on the ballot, all candidates must submit the required Declaration of Candidacy and file their Campaign Registration Statement at the District Office by the deadline of 5 p.m. on Tuesday, January 3, 2017.
The spring election will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2017. If a primary is needed, the primary election would be Tuesday, February 21, 2017.
