Greendale Schools to Co-Host 2nd-Annual Wellness Event
The evening will begin with a Wellness Fair from 5:45 to 7 p.m. in the school multipurpose room.

GREENDALE, WI -- Greendale Schools, along with the Community Alliance for the Awareness and Prevention of Substance Misuse, is co-hosting the Second Annual Community Wellness Event, βUnderstand How Mental Health and Substance Abuse Risk Connect,β on Wednesday, Jan. 30, from 5:45 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Greendale High School, 6801 Southway.
Activities and presentations provided are appropriate for everyone age 13 and older.
The evening will begin with a Wellness Fair from 5:45 to 7 p.m. in the school multipurpose room. It will feature displays and information from local health and wellness organizations and presentations by Greendale Middle School students on important health-related matters that affect the community.

A speaker panel will take place from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the auditorium. This presentation will include public health specialists discussing the connection between mental health and substance abuse risk. Speakers will share tools for parents, teens, and community residents to help create opportunities for open communication around anxiety, stress, depression and substance use concerns.
