GREENDALE, WI -- Greendale Schools is welcoming national speaker Mike Domritz of the DATE SAFE Project to present the workshop Safer Choices on Healthy Relationships on Wedneday, March 20 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., in the Greendale High School auditorium, 6801 Southway, Greendale.

The event is free and open to the public. The evening session is a complement to school-day sessions being presented to Greendale Schools’ 7 through 9 and 10 through 12 grade students.

“The #MeToo Movement has brought the subject of sexual assault and harassment to the forefront of conversation our country,” said Steve Lodes, principal of Greendale High School.

“We believe it is important for the entire Greendale community to receive the Safer Choices message on how to make positive and healthy choices in relationships.”

The DATE SAFE Project’s Founder, nationally-known expert and author, Mike Domitrz, will speak with students about the keys to safer dating, respecting boundaries, communication, and sexual assault awareness in the powerful “Safer Choices” program.

The evening presentation to parents and the community is based on the Date Safe critically-acclaimed DVD and book set HELP! My Teen Is Dating.
