β€œWhen Village was founded in 1938, establishing a school was one of the priorities of the developing community and a Greendale school was opened on September 6, 1938 welcoming students in Kindergarten through 9th grade,” said Dr. Gary Kiltz, superintendent of schools. β€œEighty years ago, Greendale residents understood the importance of education and that commitment to learning is ongoing. We are excited to welcome the community to their schools during Village Days and to celebrate with our alumni by learning more about how a Greendale education impacted their future.”
