Greendale Schools Recognizes Wisconsin School Board Appreciation Week
Superintendent: "...these citizens devote countless hours to making sure our schools are helping every child learn at a high level."

GREENDALE, WI -- Greendale Schools is joining all public school districts across the State of Wisconsin to honor its local board members for their commitment to Greendale and its children during Wisconsin School Board Appreciation Week, October 2 through 8.
The Wisconsin Association of School Boards has identified this observance as a time to build awareness and understanding of the vital function an elected board of education plays in our communities.
“Strong schools are necessary to maintain a strong community, and these citizens devote countless hours to making sure our schools are helping every child learn at a high level,” said Dr. Gary Kiltz, Superintendent of Greendale Schools. “They make the tough decisions every month and spend several hours studying education issues and regulations in order to provide the kind of accountability our citizens expect.”
