Greendale Teddy Bear Drive 'Bearly Makes The Grade'

The band played their holiday set list and music from their 2017 field show "Suspensions" for the last time.

GREENDALE, WI — There will be at least 300 extra smiles at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin this Christmas thanks to the attendees of the Greendale High School concert band's holiday performance.

On Saturday, Dec. 16, the Greendale High School band hosted their first annual Holiday Teddy Bear Drive Concert in the school's gym.

The band played their holiday set list and music from their 2017 field show "Suspensions" for the last time.

Those who came out were asked to bring a teddy bear to donate to the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin. By the time the doors opened at 6:30 p.m., guests donated more than 300 teddy bears for children at the hospital over the holiday season.
