Greendale Upgraded All Schools To New Security System
Greendale's new school security system compares the visitor's name and date of birth with a national sex offender database.

GREENDALE, WI -- Greendale schools have upgraded security at all their school buildings and the changes have taken effect today.
Greendale School District officials are reporting that they've upgraded all of their district buildings with Raptor Technologies. Raptor is being implemented in Greendale using funding from the State of Wisconsin Department of Justice School Safety Grant awarded in the summer of 2018.
Parents, volunteers and other school visitors entering any school building within the District are now required to present a government-issued photo identification for scanning into the Raptor Visitor Management System. Visitors will need to present their valid photo ID upon their first visit to each school building; for subsequent visits to the same school building, visitors will be checked into the system using the information that is stored from their first visit.
