Firefighters' "Fill the Boot" campaign to benefit children and adults affected by muscle disease is Tuesday and Thursday.

GREENDALE — As the old adage goes, "if you come to a boot in the road, fill it up!"
Members of the Greendale Fire Fighters Local 1777, along with the Muscular Dystrophy Association, will celebrate their 62-year partnership and kick off the fire fighters'
More than 15 members of Greendale Firefighters Local 1777 will be on 76th Street and Grange with boots in hand for this year’s annual Fill the Boot fundraising campaign to benefit children and adults affected by muscle disease throughout Southern, WI.

The campaign kicked off on Tuesday, May 24th and continues on Thursday, May 26th from 2:00-7:00 PM.
“Throughout 2016 MDA and fire fighters are celebrating 62 years of proud partnership, joined together in the fight against life-threatening muscle disease, said MDA Director Of Business Development, Elizabeth Wagler.
