Man, 54, Steals Parent's Credit Card, Buys $1,900 Worth of Stuff
Suspect's purchases include nearly $900 in jewelry for a woman he met in "treatment."

A 54-year-old West Allis man is facing charges after he allegedly took his father’s credit card and used it to buy $1,900 worth of merchandise from at
Mark S. Manzke was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Tuesday with one count of forgery. If convicted, he faces up to six years in prison and $10,000 in fines.

From Aug. 21-26, Manzke made 10 credit card purchases from the store, totaling $1,920. One of the transactions included $872 worth of jewelry.
After he was identified and arrested, Manzke admitted to police he made the transactions, including the jewelry, which he bought for a woman he met while in treatment.

Manzke said he was sorry for what he did to his parents and intends to pay the money to JCPenney once he gets money from an injury settlement he’s waiting for.
He’s being held in Milwaukee County Jail on $300 cash bail.
