Man Charged With Child Neglect After Getting Drunk Before Packers Game
Suspect, 31, tells police he only had two beers, but officers find eight empties inside a Greendale apartment.

A 31-year-old Greendale man is facing child neglect charges after he got drunk while watching the Packers game instead of watching a woman’s two young children.
Jason Michael Wulf was charged in Milwaukee County Circuit Court Saturday with two counts of child neglect. If convicted, he faces up to 18 months in prison and $20,000 in fines.

On Nov. 14, Wulf was asked to watch a 2-year-old child in an apartment in the 5300 block of Eastway in Greendale while the child’s mother was at work. However, when she came home, she found her 7-year-old daughter had come home while she was gone and Wulf was sitting on the couch with “glazed,” which she knew meant he was drunk.
After police arrived, Wulf told a Greendale police officer he had two 16 ounce beers before the Packers game, but after searching the apartment, investigators found eight empty beer cans, which Wulf claimed were left over from the weekend.
