Memorial Day 2017: Greendale Parade, Memorial Times and Location

Memorial Day 2017 events in Greendale include the annual parade, program and pancake breakfast.

GREENDALE, WI β€” Greendale America Legion Post 416 and The Village of Greendale will host the Memorial Day Parade and Program on Monday, May 29, 2017.

The day will begin with a service at Good Hope Cemetery located at the corner of W. Cold Spring Road and S. 43 Street in Greenfield. The Memorial Service will begin at 8:00 a.m.

The Greendale Memorial Day Parade will start at 9:00 a.m. in the Village of Greendale. The parade will proceed down Broad Street and will finish at the Greendale High School.

Immediately following the parade, there will be a Memorial Day Patriotic Program in the Greendale High School Auditorium. The program will feature patriotic music by the Greendale Village Concert Band, speakers with a special message about this day, Wreath Placement, Greendale American Legion Post 416 Firing Squad gun salute and taps, a bagpiper, and the Greenfield High School JROTC. The program is scheduled to last approximately 45 minutes to one hour.

Breakfast
The Greendale American Legion Post, located at 6351 W Grange Avenue in Greendale will host a Pancake and Waffle Breakfast at the Post beginning at 8 AM until Noon. We're serving pancakes, waffles, juice, coffee, french toast, sausage and assorted pastries. Mmm, Mmm good! Let us do the cooking for you. Tickets are only $8.00.
