Miller Honored As Greendale Chamber Teacher of the Year

She has been a part of the Greendale Middle School team since 2009.

GREENDALE, WI β€” Greendale Middle School teacher Holly Miller was honored with the 2018 Greendale Chamber of Commerce Charlie Herman Educator of the Year Award

She has been a part of the Greendale Middle School team since 2009. She teaches 6th and 7th Grade Healthy Choices classes, 8th Grade Health class and acts as the faculty advisor for two Greendale Schools’ clubs, FACT (the District's Youth Tobacco Prevention Program) and Teens With Impact, an organization designed to promote healthy lifestyle choices among teens.

β€œHolly believes in the development of the whole child,” Said Gary Kiltz, Ph.D., superintendent of
Greendale Schools in a prepared statement. β€œWe are very thankful that Holly serves our students and community. She is a valuable part of the strong whole child approach we build across our district.”

Miller earned a Bachelor’s degree in Health Education and Promotion from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. She resides in Greendale with her husband and their three children.
