Milwaukee Public Television Crew coming to Greendale
Greendale's historic hose tower to be featured on MPTV show.

A television crew from Milwaukee Public Television will be in Greendale on Tuesday, October 4 to do a story about the village's historic hose tower.
The MPTV crew is scheduled to be at the hose tower at 11 am.
The segment will be featured on a new MPTV program called 'Around the Corner with John McGivern.'

The station describes the new show as 'a personality and venue driven show during which local actor/personality John McGivern takes us to the neighborhoods and towns that make Wisconsin unique.'
In each location, the show will give viewers a behind-the-scenes look at both familiar and never-heard-of-before places by talking to and observing people around three themes: living, working and playing there.

Greendale is one of thirteen locales that will be featured on the program, which is schduled to begin airing on MPTV in January 2012.
