Mother Accused Of Sexually Abusing 10-Year-Old Son

The complaint alleges she gave him a sleeping pill before forcing him to perform sexual acts.

GREENDALE, WI — A Greendale woman is facing charges of sexual assault after allegedly drugging her 10-year-old son with sleeping pills and forcing him to perform sexual acts on her.

Tara Gotovnik, 35, is accused of committing the assault on the weekend of Aug. 5 and 6. The boy's father found out about the assault on Monday, Aug. 7 and went to the police department the same day.

South Now reported that the father was driving his son home after staying with his mother for the weekend when he found out about the assault. The boy left a gaming system at Gotovnik's house, but "didn't care about the gaming system and never wanted to go back to his mother's again."
