Individuals enrolled in BadgerCare Plus and household income under 100 percent of the Federal Poverty level (FPL) will start receiving letters this week informing them about their healthcare eligibility and options for healthcare reform changes.
Open enrollment for the Federal healthcare exchanges begin October 1, 2013 through December 15, 2013, for coverage plans starting January 1, 2014.
October 1, 2013, Wisconsin Department of Health Services and certified navigators will begin enrolling people at or below the FPL into Wisconsin’s BadgerCare program, and enrolling people 101 percent to 200 percent of FPL into the health insurance marketplace.
