Police Catch Accused Tool Thief, Saying Man Conducted "Exact Reenactment" of Earlier Crime
Police say man repeatedly tried shoplifting from Southridge Mall Sears store over the last couple of months.

GREENDALE - Police caught a man attempting to steal more than $500 in tools from the Southridge Sears, saying that the man conducted an "exact reenactment" of an earlier crime.
According to his criminal complaint, Ulysses Terriquez, Milwaukee, was observed on the Sears store security cameras on June 21 removing three tool kits and leaving without paying for them. The tool kits were valued at a total of $539.97.
He has been charged with one count of felony retail theft and bail jumping and could face up to 9 and a half years imprisonment on both charges if he is convicted.

According to his complaint, police pulled over Terriquez's vehicle shortly after it left the Sears parking lot, and recovered all of the stolen tool kits.
Police noted that all of the stolen tool kits were recovered from his lap, with the security sensors still attached.

Police said that the crime was an "exact reenactment" of a crime that took place approximately 11 weeks prior, and that Terriquez was referred for four additional shopliftings at the same store on April 26, May 1 and May 2, that he had yet to be charged for.
