'A Senseless Death' 4-Year-Old Dies of Opiate Overdose
Police say a four-year-old boy who went to sleep on April 15, never woke up. An autopsy revealed the boy died of an opiate overdose.

MILWAUKEE, WI β The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's office said Thursday that the April 15 death of four-year-old Tyran Beckless of Milwaukee has been ruled "acute methadone intoxication."
The Medical Examiner's office has reported that Beckless is the seventh child under the age of five that has died of an opiate overdose in the past 19 months.
According to a FOX6 Now report Thursday, a family member said that Tyran Beckless went to sleep at home with his mom, dad , sister and brother on April 15 - but he did not wake up.

Two people have been arrested after his death, police say.
βTragedy β a senseless death. A tragedy not only for the child, but for the parents. If you know somebody who would be dealing with addiction and they do have kids, question them right away,β Ken Hartenstein, a licensed professional counselor with Rogers Memorial, who helps those dealing with addiction said in a FOX 6 Report.
