Southridge Mall Hosts Back To School Event This Weekend

GREENDALE -- -Southridge Mall is celebrating the start of the 2016 school year with a weekend full of festive activities for all. The back to school blitz will feature a kids-only celebration as part of the Kidgits Back to School Bash.

Young academics and their families will enjoy creating their own one-of-a-kind canvas lunch tote and decorating pencils and bookmarks.

New and returning Kidgits members will also receive a mini chalkboard set and Simon Kidgits Club branded pencils (while supplies last).

In addition, several local colleges from throughout Southeast Wisconsin will be handing out information as part of an education fair on Saturday.

Families can also grab a complimentary photo to mark the beginning of the school year on Saturday and Sunday in the back to school photo booth in center court.

WHEN:

• Kidgits Club Celebration: Saturday, September 17, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
• Education Fair: Saturday, September 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• Back to School Photo Booth: Saturday, September 17, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, September 18, from noon to 6 p.m.
